A Cleaner Byndr: Navigation Redesign and Portfolio Tab
Byndr's project navigation has been simplified from 10 tabs to 6 with a new Portfolio hub bringing value, sealed products, and budget into one place.

Less navigation, more focus#
As Byndr has grown, so did its navigation. What started as a handful of tabs had expanded to ten — Overview, Search, Scan, Collection, Wishlist, Goals, Value, Explore, Chase, Quartett. For new users especially, that number of choices created friction before they had even started.
The redesign reduces this to six tabs and groups related functionality more intuitively.
The new structure#
| Tab | What lives here |
|---|---|
| Overview | Dashboard summary, alerts, suggestions |
| Collection | Cards, Search, Scan, Goals (sub-sections) |
| Wishlist | Wishlist with buy signals |
| Portfolio | Card value, Sealed products, Budget |
| Explore | Set browser, Chase cards |
| Play | Quartett game |
Collection sub-sections#
Search and Scan have moved inside the Collection tab as segments rather than standalone tabs. A small pill row at the top of Collection lets you switch between Cards, Search, Scan, and Goals without leaving the tab. The badge on the Collection tab still shows your total card count at a glance.
The Portfolio tab#
This is the most significant addition. Value tracking (previously its own tab), the new Sealed Products panel, and the new Budget panel all live here as segments. The idea is that anything financial about your collection lives in Portfolio — card market values, sealed investment decisions, and monthly hobby spend.
Chase cards move into Explore#
Chase Cards previously had its own tab. It now appears as a section below the set browser in Explore, which is a more natural fit — you are browsing sets and discovering valuable cards to hunt, all in one place.
Same features, better organisation#
No functionality has been removed. Every feature that existed before the redesign is still available — it is simply easier to find. The mobile bottom navigation adapts to the same six-tab structure, making the app more comfortable on smaller screens.
