Crew Battle: Play One Piece TCG with Your Collection

Battle with Your One Piece Cards#

You've been building your One Piece collection. Tracking sets, watching values, hunting for SEC cards. Now those cards have a second purpose — you can fight with them.

Crew Battle is a card game built into Byndr that uses your actual collection. The cards you own become your fighters.

How a Match Works#

Each player picks 3 cards from their collection as their Crew. These are the cards you'll fight with for the entire match.

A match is played over 3 rounds. Each round, one card from each side meets in battle:

  1. The attacker decides how many DON!! tokens to spend — up to 3 per round, from a pool of 6 for the whole match. Each token adds +1000 to that card's Power for this round.
  2. The defender can activate their card's Counter value if it has one, adding it to their own Power to block the attack.
  3. The card with higher effective Power wins the round. The loser's card is KO'd. On a tie, both cards are KO'd.
  4. The attacker role alternates each round.

The player who KO's more enemy cards wins the match. If it's equal after 3 rounds, the combined market value of surviving cards decides it.

Why Your Cards Matter#

Every One Piece card has a Power stat — the number printed on the card itself. Characters with 5000, 6000, or 9000 Power are the backbone of a strong Crew.

Counter values matter too. A card with a +2000 Counter can swing a round when you're on defence. Leader cards tend to have higher Power but no Counter, so pairing them with Counter-capable Characters is a real choice.

The DON!! system means raw Power isn't everything. A weaker card can win a round if you commit more tokens to it. But tokens are limited — spending 3 in round 1 leaves you with fewer options later.

Three Opponents, Three Difficulties#

When playing against the bot, you choose your opponent:

Koby plays randomly and makes rookie mistakes. A good starting point if you're learning the rules.

Smoker targets his strongest card every round. Efficient, but readable once you know his pattern.

Doflamingo calculates the power gap and commits DON!! precisely to close it. He'll use Counter strategically and won't waste tokens.

Playing with PvP#

Crew Battle also supports real-time matches against other collectors. Both players pick their Crew simultaneously, then take turns in the DON!! and Counter phases. The match updates live as each action is submitted.

Your Collection, Your Crew#

Crew Battle is built around cards you actually own. The characters you've pulled, the leaders you've collected, the Counter cards you kept — they all play differently. A collection heavy on high-Power booster set cards will fight differently from one built around starter deck synergy.
